"I have long wanted to create space for young people who want to build something in the creative industry. My concern was to provide an affordable exhibition space for aspiring artists. Everyone should have the opportunity to present their work to an audience without spending a lot of money. I help with the concept development / selection of the works to be shown / presentation of the works and public relations. My task is to support and connect young creative people." Alessandra Ljuboje

nadaLokal is an experimental art space. nadaLokal is not a place of representation and does not pursue commercial interests. nadaLokal is a free exhibition and project space, a place for contemporary art. nadaLokal is an interface between artistic experiment and the public as well as a forum for local and international artists. nadaLokal is a space of work and possibility away from institutionalised production sites.
nadaLokal was founded in 2009 by Amanda Piña and Daniel Zimmermann and is run as an association for art in motion, based in Vienna.
In danzas Climáticas Amanda Piña explores the way the notions of earth have transformed through time and through different historical genealogies and ontologies. In this piece the biographical landscape of the artist, a particular mountain in the central Andes in Chile, which is today being destroyed by Neo-extractive forces, becomes a place from where to share grief and fury, to mourn and stand up.
Climatic Dances is an embodied visual effort to practice new ancestral ways of relating with the living world, healing and repairing.
